Non-Member Prairie Dog Season now open

The 2025 Non-member prairie dog season is now open-  Hunters are reminded that non-members are required to use non-toxic bullets while prairie dog hunting.   Also, while the season has been reopened, Sylvatic plague is likely still present and active on some colonies.  Take appropriate precautions, like wearing long sleeves and pants, using bug spray, and avoid handling potential flea infested animals.  Wildlife crews will be out on the colonies for most of the summer treating burrows for fleas to reduce plague spread, if you see our hard working people out there, please keep their safety in mind as you shoot.
